The Jetsetting Parents are pretty fussy with their sushi, but they can’t stop raving about LR Sushi at QueensPlaza. Apparently Brisbane office workers have also pegged it as a popular lunch spot. Eat Drink Brisbane also gave it a rave review.
Why? LR Sushi produce nori rolls with a difference. The high demand means a fast turnover of stock, and the large selection of rolls are mostly priced at an amazing $2 for the standard fillings. Most importantly, each roll is huge by normal standards, with the contents of each roll obviously fresh and the filling is not weighed down by gluggy, or worse, warm sushi rice.
My three rolls containing salmon and avocado, seaweed and tofu and teriyaki chicken made a filling and cheap lunch and if I worked in the city, I could imagine LR being my local lunch stop too.
