It’s true!) to aid with soaking up said cocktails with Asian inspired tasty morsels. Welcome to The Brunswick Social.

The little snippet (2 cocktails worth) of The Brunswick Social I had late on a Friday evening was enough to impress me and certainly enough to leave me wanting more.
Perhaps it’s the older crowd (and by older, I mean a majority of over 25’s I guess?) that made me feel at home, or the friendly bar staff shaking up some delicious cocktails for me and my sistas? Notably, the distinct lack of messy teenagers and the presence of happy, friendly people together in one space relaxing into their weekend really did give the place a nice, welcoming atmposphere.
We only sampled a couple of items from the dumpling menu during our short stay. Both $8 and a quantity of 3 per serve, we had the bbq pork dumplings and the steamed prawn dumplings. Both were delicious…and I know a good pork bun when I have one!
Strangely enough, the whole cocktail and dumpling thing worked really well. I like the idea of having yummy, warm, progressive tasty bites over a few gentle drinks with friends. And with the tunes, the overall vibe and the space (you can find all sorts of cosy little alcoves to hide), The Brunswick Social has got the late night social scene all stitched up.
